MSI GAMING X RX 470 8GB BIOS is different GAMING X RX 470 4GB
Overclocking memory TIMING is different.


You need prepare software as below :
(1)AMD/ATI ATIFlash 2.74  (link)  : For save BIOS and flash BIOS
(2)​PolarisBiosEditor (link) : For edit BIOS
(3)GPU-Z  (link) : For display Graphics Card status

(4)WattTool-0.92  (link) : For Overclocking GPU

Step 1. Run AtiWinflash.exe  as ADMINISTRATOR

Step 2. Click button to save BIOS.

Step 3.Set a file name to save BIOS file.

​Step 4.Save complete and exit.

Step 5. Run PolarisBiosEditor.ext edit BIOS.

Step 6. Open the BIOS file you just saved.

Step 10. Run AtiWinflash.exe  as ADMINISTRATOR

​Step 16. Default GPU setting get ETH 22 Mh/s. Power Draw get 88.1W

​Step 17. Use WattTool overclocing
​Set Memory Mhz to 1980 get ETH 27 Mh/s. But power draw up to 100W .

​Tuning GPU mV down to 1050,memory MHz to 2020 get ETH 28 Mh/s .
Power draw get 80W that’s ok.

Each GPU quality is different is really Lottery .
If you tuning mV MHz get blue screen or white screen
you can set high mV or low MHz can fix this problem.
